Mondaine originally designed timepieces for the Swiss railway and stepped into the watchmaking arena in the 1980s, bringing an established iconic design to people’s wrists. This model from the Essence collection is featured in white and the silicone strap and case is made from a renewable castor oil compound. The white dial is contrasted with black hands and hour markers with the iconic red second hand, which takes its inspiration from the train dispatcher’s baton.
